NUVA Technologies has developed patent pending, digital signage viewer verification, tracking and reporting software called AVITAR which accurately verifies each viewer and provides total traffic count reporting, effectively proving an advertisement's value.

Using AVITAR software, digital display screens across a network can be programmed on an individual basis in real time with targeted content to match the audience demographic profile. AVITAR software offers viewer recognition, tracking and reporting providing advertisers with essential verified viewer statistical information unavailable with any other media signage system on the market today which is the type of critical information that advertisers have been desperately seeking. In fact, advertisers have been flying blind for over 100 years not knowing how really effective their advertising campaigns have been because of the fact that there were not any accurate and reliable viewer tracking and reporting measuring tools available until now. Increasingly, marketers are being called to account for the value added by their advertising spending so we believe that we have created a viable solution to address this very serious world wide industry problem.


How AVITAR Works – Viewer Verification

A Web Cam plugged into back of Media Player and mounted on a display screen. The Web Cam acts as a Sensor. Our AVITAR software and a display screen sensor is patent pending technology that is only available to NUVA Technologies licensed users. AVITAR provides real time, viewer verification information of the number of people who stand in front of each display screen. It also provides you with full statistical data about which ads were shown directly to a viewer, by date, time, and the number of times your ads were displayed to viewers each hour with 99% accuracy. Viewer Verification – AVITAR will report how many people stood in front of a display screen while a particular ad/media file was being displayed by time, date & location with 99% accuracy. A person who stands in front of a display screen for a minimum of 3 seconds is counted as a verified viewer. AVITAR can even count a group of people standing in front of a display screen at the same time counting each person who stands in front of the display screen for a minimum of 3 seconds.Dwell Time: AVITAR will report on the length of time that each verified viewer has stood in front of the display screen. This dwell time measurement is very valuable in demonstrating how interesting and compelling media content or advertising content is to viewers. Impressions - AVITAR will also report how many people walked by a display screen by time, date & location with 99% accuracy.

Media Viewing Verification:

The front end proprietary AVITAR software allows for the setup of multiple "trip zones." and fully customizes data delivery options for very precise and customized reports. The user is able to set and send a variety of messages and customize the specific data which is sent back to MMP5 (Multi-Media Planner) software application.

Trip zones can also be tied to the player software, to allow a specific advertisement campaign to show while there is a verified viewer in front of the display system. Each display screen part of a network of screens sends the traffic information back to your Multi Media Planner software application where it is collected and analyzed. The viewer data is then sent to both the Advertisers and Media Company’s computer screens where the advertiser and media company are able to view total traffic results, time of day of each viewer, dwell time and geographic location.

Valuable Viewer Verification Information

The viewer data is extremely important information because it helps advertisers link a specific ad campaign directly to an increase in sales in order to determine the effectiveness of the advertising message and/or the consumer demand for the product. Using the viewer traffic data, Media companies can load new ads onto the network of display screens to replace ineffective ads in real time to maximize sales results. AVITAR provides extremely valuable viewer verification metrics for retailers, advertisers, and manufacturers involved in in-store digital display advertising product promotions. Retailers can compare viewer verification statistical information with sales to measure advertising effectiveness and lift to sales.

Digital Signage Management Integration

Using AVITAR, MMP has the ability to respond to verified viewers who are positioned in front of your display system. MMP can display a specific advertising campaign to verified viewers and report back the date time and ads displayed. AVITAR can also report foot traffic in near real time. This is done through the MMP administrative control panel, under the statistics tab.
